Pocket God iPhone app review is it as good as they say ?

One of the huge iPhone Success has to be Pocket God, its a fun app. You cant really call it a game coz there is no clear-cut objective to achieve and win the game. Its more of a fun thing you can show off to friends and boast about the iPhone’s capability. With the tag link of what kind of Pocket God would you be? Benevolent or Vegeful ? The app lets you play God and you can be good or nasty to the Pgymy People ( the cute little islanders ).

The game will enable you to choose the fate of an infinite amount of Pgymy with the flick of a finger. Everything from sharks, lighting, hurricanes, tsunami, T-Rex to vampire bats, bird po, Ant, Heat Stroke, I could keep going for a long while…. is possible in this cartoon style game. Not all things are bad you can be a good God and ask em islanders to dance, fish, etc too but that is not as much fun as calling in a lightning strike on those little guys or flicking em in to a volcano is it ? The version we tested also has mini games built in like the Doodle jump game which can be started by dropping an islander on to a cloud.

If you ask me for the price tag of $0.99 this app is definitely worth it. The best part of the app is the frequent update that the developers add to the application that make it more fun each time you play it. I bought this app a long while ago and each time an update come along I play around with it for about 5 mins. When I show off my iPhone to a friend this app is one of the app that i use to demonstrate the fun one can have with an iPhone. When all of that comes for a price of 99cents who can say no.

The only issue we have with the app is the inability to download it vis 3G when a new version is out. Coz of the size restriction one has to hookup to a Wi-Fi network to download. Some new Music wouldn’t hurt the app either.
