iPhone Redeem code now in Australian AppStore ?

I found something I haven’t noticed before, I am with Virgin Mobile in Australia and I was under the impression the Promotional Codes the developers send out are only for the guys n gals in US. But when I was in the Featured section of the Iphones AppStore under the new tab, if you scroll all the way down we have a Redeem Option.

When you click on it it shows you a page where you can enter your iTunes Gift Card, Gift Certificate or other iTunes Code. So we might be able to enter the promotional code the developers give-away and sore a free app. Any ways I haven’t tested this out coz I dont have a Promo Code to test it out yet. If any developers who happen to see this wanna give one away. Plz contact us via ppcinformer[at]gmail[d0t]com

MobileMe iDisk App for the iPhone Review

Apple has just released MobileMe iDisk App for iPhone and iPod touch. There were some third party Paid and Lite apps to log in to MobileMe but with this new App from Apple anyone can use it for Free. One can log into MobileMe, see the files on iDisk, view supported file formats jpg, png, word document ,audio/video files, etc, you can also swipe to delete files, send a link to the file to anyone via email. ( the actual file is not embedded which is a good thing , this way you can send large files to anyone ). The files are viewable in landscape or portrait. Just tap the file to access it and use pinch gestures to zoom in and out. And any file you’ve viewed recently doesn’t need to be re-downloaded.

Pocket God iPhone app review is it as good as they say ?

One of the huge iPhone Success has to be Pocket God, its a fun app. You cant really call it a game coz there is no clear-cut objective to achieve and win the game. Its more of a fun thing you can show off to friends and boast about the iPhone’s capability. With the tag link of what kind of Pocket God would you be? Benevolent or Vegeful ? The app lets you play God and you can be good or nasty to the Pgymy People ( the cute little islanders ).

[ Web App ] Google Latitude on iPhone

Google Latitude on iPhone

Google Latitude is a service that allows you to keep track ( stalk ) of your friends. Its now available for the iPhone and iPod touch. Unfortunately its not integrated into Google Maps but it has been released as a Web App. I think the idea of having a separate WebApp for this sucks, why not just integrate it in to the existing Google Maps app? WHY????

Pennies – budget tracking finance app for iPhone

Its a very intuitive finance app and the UI is a treat to use. Its developed by design by a knife.

When you first launch the application you are presented with a “This Month” budget screen where you can set your monthly budget, see how much you’ve spent, see top expenses, and add a new expense. With just two taps, you can enter your monthly budget and begin tracking your expenses immediately. Pennies features a beautifully designed and extremely simple interface that allows you to record purchases in seconds. You can then view your daily receipts and expense entries for the past days in the Expense tab. The application also features a History tab where you can see expenses from the past months. The application gives you an option to export data in csv format and its emailed to the account you provide.
