My computer crashed and i lost all my music. However my music is still on my iphone. with itunes home sharing can i download the new iphone software onto my iphone without erasing any apps, music or video?

I was reading an article about just this yesterday, and if you install and updates or upgrades and things go wrong then Mac wont support your iPhone hundreds of people have updated/upgraded their phones and things have gone wrong. now can’t restore their phones to the older version operating system, because mac don’t support what they have done by updating/upgrading the software, this article was in a consumer report Magazine
so do some research before you try anything with your iPhone go to an iPhone user group and read what is being said, about being unable to use their iPhone

Hi,
what do you mean by iphone software? if you mean the new version 3.1.2 then updating your iphone will erase all its data and since you don’t have it on the itunes thus you’ll never get it back,
now what you can do is to download isafe copy, it is trial for 30 days use it to copy every thing from your iphone and then use it again to back up everything, you cannot buy it there is no link for that i wish there is as it is a great tool.
