Question by Sam M: Where are the iPhone software updates located once you download them?
I clicked the “Download Only” option when the prompt to download the new software came up. When I connected my iPhone I selected the “Update” button and it began downloading the software again. Anyway to bypass and let it update with the software that I already downloaded?

Go to file – Music – iTunes – and it should be there.

im not sure, you may be better off redownloading the firmware and using using the “shift-click” method to update, downloads are at this site “http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/” the site also explains how to do the shift click if you dont know how, its very easy. i suggest you also look at jailbreaking your iphone
